My logo advanced from being something that was in my head to then going onto paper to then making it digitally via "Illustrator". I used this program because its specialty is working with vector graphics, and where the logo I was designing was going to be a vector image, "Illustrator" being very suitable for the job.
Initial Development
My design of my logo started with a mind map:
This mind map shows the beginning of my development of my logo, I then moved on to making two separate designs from this mind map.
1: A logo which was simple the name of my game in a rectangle orange box, with bold letters, with stroke, in the colour orange. However from this I found it was to basic and didn't contain the exact points that I wanted, I.e puzzle piece.
2: A logo which contained the shape of a pyramid, puzzle piece and the initials of my games title. This design I found had all the criteria, so I went forward in developing this.
Once I had the idea up on the computer, I then went on to making a survey which you can access through here.

Further Development
I had some responses already, from all different ages varying from 16 - 50. This giving me great ranges helping me work out a fair average to improve my logo.
Here are some of the response that I received from my logo survey.
The only thing that people wanted to be fixed was the colour, apparently the colour was really lacking, and this wasn't just a one of answer, many people said it: male, female, young and old. However they liked the design and most of them became happy from it.
so I added colour to the previous design and here is the finished product
